XPango : is it really free?

If you search through google for free mobile phone and free gaming console, then you will easily find XPango. First impression when I saw this site is : "wow, is it really free?". It even come with referral system that makes me think it's worth to try because there's nothing to lose anyway.

Unfortunately, after reading terms and conditions, I realize that the free stuffs are not really free, at least for me who reside in Indonesia. XPango has some rules that must be obeyed. Below I will explain the rules briefly if you still want to catch a free mobile phone or gaming console.

First, you must register and activate your account. The registration is 100% free, but the activation is not "free". In order to activate your account, there are three alternatives :

1. You must buy mobile accessories at XPango, of course this is not free


2. You can buy clix, of course this is not free ($34.99 for 250 clix and $49.99 for 500 clix)


3. You can complete XPango free offer which is not really free (unless for UK, which I saw a mastercard membership offer for free)

Second, you must collect a certain credit in order to get your free stuff. More expensive stuff you choose, more higher credit you must collect. You can do three methods above for gaining credit, but I think you will spend money more than free stuff you want :P. The other way to gain credit is to refer some other people join under your referral. Each one person join XPango, will cause you gain 1 credit. But remember, every person who join XPango must activate their account first!

Simple isn't it. Frankly speaking, XPango is really honest by telling you that they offer free mobile phones and free gaming consoles. It's not hoax anyway since there are many testimonial videos (which seem can be trusted). But the system they have, is it really free? You decide :)
