Shocking news!!!Soeharto, the former president of Indonesia, is dead today.
He has multiple organs malfunction causing his death in 13.10 pm this evening.
Well, many cry for his leaving, many condemn of his doing in the past.
The trial of Soeharto which Indonesian people struggled for many years will be impossible now.
Will Soeharto's sins in the past be forgotten by Indonesian people?
Hmm, actually he did govern Indonesia with iron fist, but if we think carefully there are some benefits too in the way he did.
In his era, many extremists are jailed without reason. That's why the situation in Indonesia is really safe and under controlled. So most people at that time can work and develop this country without any fears. Suppose he were still in force until today, I believe there would not be Bali bombings phase 1 and phase 2 ;)..
But Soeharto had done many things wrong as well since in his era, he let nepotism system in Indonesia grow and get stronger. And don't forget, the corruption mentality that he always closed his eyes to is planted on many government officers at that time.
So if Indonesia hasn't fully recovered from economic crisis until today, I think Soeharto has to take responsibility too. He will face the trial of hell since he always avoid human's trial until his death....
